- Before I pull out the engine, how far is the clutch slave cylinder supposed to push the clutch fork? I think I have about 3/8" of travel (kinda hard to measure by yourself). Thomas James Pokrefke, II

- On my 1275 Midget my slave usually moves out about 1" to 1 1/4". Everybody says that is what it should be. Make sure that it returns all the way back. I found that my didn't return all the way, like

- Thomas......since no-one else has answered this (at least, publicly) let me say that we reckon the clutch hydraulics are working properly when the pushrod moves 5/8". Lawrie British Sportscar Center
