- I'm shopping for a new alternator since mine just bit the dust. Here's what I've found: 1) Moss, VB, etc. offers alternators in the $150 range. Remanufactured with return of the old part expected. 2)

- I put the Autozone alternator in my '72B. Its a re-built Lucas 16ACR as original, and came with a lifetime replacement warrenty, of course you have to use your old pully/fan. So far so good ( 4 mont
