- Hi Paul, Thanks, big time, for your advice: I did check the fuses ( they were ok ) and even reseated all the connectors under the hood to no avail. I will commence with your other suggested steps. ..

- I had the same fan noise problem on my 80 mgb. I ( after trail and error ) lubed the bearings with a combo of axle grease and graphite powder about 4 years ago and haven't had a problem since. Steve
