- I would up removing the throttle shaft and cleaned up all the caked on crud that was on it. When I put the shaft back in the throttle worked fine. Sean Twigg 75 MGB

- Just to add to the discussion. I drove an 89 Honda Civic CRX HF for five years and averaged about 52mpg city and 60mpg highway. It was great to go 450 - 500 miles without worrying about getting gas.
