Maybe you guys can shed some light for me. I have a 75 MGB with a rebuilt head, according to the PO. I had to rebuild the distributor because the points plate was frozen. I rebuilt the carb this week

I did check the springs on the mechanical advance, they are two different sizes with the heavier one being loose on the posts. I have built other distributors in ht e past and was always able to spin
