- Way too pessimistic I'd have said. The pedal return spring just pulls the push-rod off the m/c piston, it doesn't pull the clutch release bearing away from the clutch cover. It is the roller-bearing

- Just disconnect the wire from the sender, you can then measure the resistance of the sender at whatever engine speed you like. Didin't someone just post a graph? Thought I had put it somewhere safe.
