Hmm, why isolate it? Isn't a lighter like a bulb, only without the glass and having a larger filament? Wouldn't connecting the *power* side to negative work on a positive ground car? Mike '79B ground

I seem to recall from another list thread that the stops are toward the rear of the door near the bottom. Having said that, I don't think they are necessary to have. My windows roll down about 1/2" b

In the MGB world some refer to the cover for the package area behind the seats as the "short cover". IIRC, when I had my '60 A there was no cover like that, only the regular tonneau. Mike '79B

Actually both provided your talking about original SU. The round electrical end partially fits in the hole in the boot and has a cover. the fuel fitting end is in the well near the rear offside wheel
