- If you do find that the problem is the head gasket, do not use the copper gaskets. In my opinion they do not work as well as the asbestos ones. You can give it a coat of aluminum paint, or a hylomar

- CHeck your fuel pump pressure. It shouldnt be much more that about 2 psi. If you start getting over 3 psi, the float needles cant control it.

- To my knowledge they were not originally mounted. I have a spare plug holder mounted in the middle of the battery bracket. It looks quite nice, and is easy to get at.

- Try to find Girling or Lockheed brake fluid. It is Dot 4, and fairly common here in Calif. Dot 5 will mix with Dot4. I wouldnt reccomend using Silicon Dot 5 with anything else. If you do use Silicon
