My '75 Midget 1500 has had a similar idling problem in the past. I have found that adjustment of the idle *mixture*, rather than simply the idle speed, has helped to alleviate (sp?) this problem to

In response to your question, are you sure that is a '76 Midget? Perhaps the title was wrong. I don't have the exact sequential numbers for the VIN with me, but a 1976 should have a "G" code for the
