I am currently rebuilding a 1967 MGB Roadster, the engine and gearbox have been removed along with the front suspension. I know the recommended procedure for replacing the front springs is to place

Thanks for the reply on the internal spring compressor, seems like a good idea, can I assume that what you have is a stepped washer that fits into the spring near the top with a threaded bar passing
