I have 2 SUs but I lean the carbs,retard the spark, take of any vacuum advance, it'll barely run...but pasees . pull away a block and reset to original tuning.

It started as a clunk.....actually thought I had something loose in the trunk...has increased to a clunk or two upon accelerating in 1st at very low speed....can be brought on by decelerating quickly

I have a haze on the inside of the glass lense of my Smith gauges. Just 27 years of use I guess. How do I remove the glass--I'm hoping its not that I have to remove the gauges. I've tried to pry one
