- Try your carburator floats. Reach in where the air goes in, and pull up on the restrictor. No, I don't know the proper terminology, but try it anyways. If they are hard to move, then the oil is too h

- No, do not remove it by pulling it off from below. I also do not recommend cutting the slit open more, although, I guess it wouldn't kill the car altogether. I clean mine once a year. No problems...
