- Correct, the Facet ones are "on" permanently whereas the SU ones will switch off when the pressure gets up to a certain limit. Giles Durham/Hexham UK

- It doesn't matter whether there is air in the line or not, since it is a pressure that is being transmitted to the gauge, my mini always has air in the gauge, but comes on straight away. Giles
