- Can anyone point me towards a gear lever knob for an SD1 gearbox (1982 vintage)? It has a 5/16 NC 18 pitch thread and Rimmer etc say they only have later ones. My local 'performance' shops are bewild

- I could be wrong, probably am, but isn't it the same transmission as the TR7/8. Could be a different lever though I suppose. Sounds like it may have changed, from your email. Let's see, who has SD1s

- It may not be correct for purists (but then again the car isn't exactly stock looking anyway) but I picked up a good-looking shifter knob at a local shop. It comes with a set of generic plastic adapt
