Horst fastened the shoulder belt to the floor behind the seat. That's not the best location. YOu want that belt as high as possible. On the MGA it was first fastened to the top of the vertical panne

I had one in my TD when I raced it back in 1957.....I seem to remember bolting it to the frame but don't remember how I did it. It probably not as strong as the modern roll bars with struts. Terry in
