That's the way my J2 was. Alternately, mount the rear via gearbox or cross-shaft (I'm not sure of the configuration on the NA), then lift the engine and bolt the front mount to the engine. Does that

Hi Terry, I found it easier to lift the NA (on a ramp when available), put the engine with gearbox and front mounting in position under the car, and then lift the complete unit up and fix it. Gerhard

I am back working on the PA. Some dipstick DPO has lost the rear axle oil level dipstick. The manual says on page 11, in big print, "ON NO ACCOUNT OVERFILL THE REAR AXLE, THE CORRECT LEVEL IS MARKED
