- Hi list 1. I must be missing messages, because I'm getting messages which are answers to other I havn't received. 2. Every message comes twice, up to 25 mins apart. Is this happening to anyone else?

- I recently rebuilt our PA clutch, 12 springs and all. I don't see any reason to reduce the number - I'd be worried about it slipping. I bought pressure springs and hairpin springs from Sports & Vint

- I have always understood that you heat copper to bright red and quench to anneal it, ie it behaves the opposite way to steel, which is hardened by quenching. This is what I did recently when rebuild

- Bearings, seals and bronze bushes should be available from your local bearing supplier. Just give them the dimensions (OD x ID x THK) and type (ball, roller, etc); or take samples of what you need.

- I think that provision for a water pump would be very wise if you're supercharging. Having said that, I wouldn't expect an #unblown# car to have a problem, especially in your relatively cool climate
