- Well, I decided today I woulkd not quit my day job for a TIG welding job. Next time someone is through here and knows how to weld aludimum including manifold cast aludimum, then stop and show me how.

- If the manifold is used it is almost impossible to weld at times. The oil is way too deep into the pores.. The guys that weld for me will generally not work on a used one or if they do it is $$$$$$$$

- Good point years ago when I was involved with welding motorcycle heads and such we put them in an oven and pre heated to 350.. As far as the welding goes now I am not generally there for that I hire
