By the text they appear to be a stronger piece meaning you could lean on em harder, and by the looks of the pictures they are already relieved so putting on Ardun heads may be a problem. Jim -- Origi

John, my understanding is no, this is a development of the American Flathead block that the French did later for their own military purposes. One of my own Flathead blocks is a NOS WWII Ford military
