- Well, it is pretty clear that for what we do, Lexan is the material of choice for windows/canopies. Easy to bend, drill, cut, clean (I use Plexus plastic cleaner), more shatter resistant than Plexigl

- You could keep a cover over it so it does not see any sun unless it needs to. Might keep the inside of the car cooler as well. You might also have a look at what the light aircraft guys do also.. Dav

- Something you might look at Skip is UV window film. I had it put on my '89 T-Bird to eliminate sunburn while driving. It worked. Maybe a fresh piece every year would help protect the surface. Bryan _
