Lots of LSR cars have welded control arms. Keith ran 228 MPH with a pair I welded. Get the front-end shop to figure which way you need to move the ball joint to get the alignment where you want it.

A 4" bore and 3" stroke works just fine too...302 cid. Heads are the real issue if you want to make HP. Keith discovered this. Spend the big $$ get the best and go fast. Don't forget a high $$ fuel

For what ever it's worth. Pro Stockers have bores in the 4.5" to 4.6" range I believe. Relatively short strokes for a big block. Not sure what R/S ratio (Dave do you know)? Seem to run 9000+ RPM with
