- I've been told that good quality Wilwood ductile iron brake rotors explode at 4600 rpm . 275 mph with 26" tires is about 3600 rpm . What's the fastest anybody has gone with brake drums ?

- Can I get away with 1 1/4" water lines between my engine and water tank which are 3 ft apart . It's an unblown gas A engine with a belt driven factory type water pump . It's a little tight for 1 1/2"

- Still working on the streamliner body . Have found sometimes when I need to bend the Dzus spring inward to get the right fit the spring jumps off the pop rivets so I flare the rivets more with a cent

- Usualy front wheel drive puts more weight on the front . That means more traction and fewer spins . With a flathead with the right final drive ratio some kind of production front wheel drive set up

- Mayf - When dzus buttons are in place the spring is only compressed maybe .010" so you don't need to allow for that . Just add up the thicknesses .

- Your right , I forgot to convert ft/min to ft/sec . At 1 gpm the air speed through a vent should be : 1/10" --28 mph 1/8" --18 mph 1/4" --4.5 mph 3/8" --2 mph 1/2" --1 mph
