I guess the max RPM I have ever run a Bonneville is 8,000. Have made lots of runs in the 7,800 range with lots of success. Ran 8,200 once at Maxton, and everything seemed to live OK, but no gain in

What are the gear ratios in the 5-speed? Personally I'd stay away from OD if I could. You can get close ratio grears for your 4-speed, 2.23 1st I believe. Or just trade it in on another. Hey if your
