Know this has been discussed before,but someone please refresh my memory. Are the carbs too rich or too lean when the cars backfire or pop on deacceleration in particular when going down a hill. The

This is usually due to air getting into the exhaust system. I eliminated deceleration backfiring by sealing some small holes in the resonator (not muffler) on my BJ8. I used stick epoxy/steel. Mixtu
