What is the impact of putting RHD headlights on our cars here in the US ? Do they actually project to the left and obstruct oncoming traffic ? I've never noticed our lights doing anything but shining

Well, I suppose you're correct or they wouldn't bother specifying. But when I adjust my headlights, I do it on low beam and adjust them to point straight ahead. Have I been doing that wrong all these

My guess is that Mike O is correct. If you adjust the low beam straight ahead seems you would shine the light right in an on-coming drivers eyes. tom

The low beams are supposed to cut off the light that would be projected into the eyes of an on-coming driver. LHD lamps will cut off on the left side and RHD lamps will cut off on the right side. Bil

HIGH beam head lights should be set 2 to 4 degrees down ,if set too high you will loose light in the distance ...and the bulbs are different ,the dip beam is set to the left or right of the high beam
