- Alright, I have a caliper repair kit question. I bought a front caliper rebuild kit (67 BJ8) which has the seals and the rubber boots, but also two round metal wires. What is the wire for? I did not

- If I recall correctly, you use the round wires to fix the dust boot to the top of the brake caliper piston where there's a notch to take the dust boot (on the BJ8s only). it should be a spring wire/
