- Mark, et al, I would suggest that if you used all new lockwashers where required, the situation was not likely the backing off of the hardware, but rather the settling of the gaskets and sealing agen

- NO the bolts will not loosen up on the transmission after driving. The only way they could have been loose is that you did not tighten them up when it was put together. David Nock British Car Special
