Stock studs, use motor oil. ARP studs, use their moly lube. Using other lube will affect torque readings, and you won't really know how much torque is needed to get the proper stretch. Cheers, Chris

FYI, some diesels have cats. My 2005 VW does, and by 2008 all new diesels will have them and some will have a particulate filter as well. Mine also has an O2 sensor used to regulate EGR duty cycle. M
