- If it goes into the water jacket I would use Teflon paste. Permatex sells it as well as any good plumbing supply store. Think Teflon tape only a think paste like wheel bearing grease. Works great. R

- Battery cables are the exception to the rule that voltage drops are connection issues. Corrosion can grow inside the cables and cause a no start. A 2 volt drop is world class. Spec is no more than 0.

- Is the drop on the power side or the ground side? You should check both side, and repair the side that has the excessive drop. If for example the power side has a 2.0V drop and the ground side has 0
