I have an engine balance question: Is the Healey 6 cyl engine internally balanced? Are the flywheel and crank damper neutral balanced so they can be swapped without affecting engine overall balance.

I was removing the harmonic balancer the other day and noticed that it came off pretty easily. I was able to pull it off by hand. Is this normal? No signs of abnormal wear on any surfaces. Damper see

DMD has one nice potential solution to this cam lobe and follower pitting wear issue. A roller cam kit. Really expensive! I suppose a pint of EOS per oil change would be a lot cheaper :) Dave _______
