- Just got back from 1,419 mile trip with my son to Death Valley ;) Anyway, my only peeve with my otherwise satisfactory Daytons is the chrome nipples. These tend to round off and distort with tuning .

- Having reduced the rattles overall on my BJ8 I noticed one of the remaining rattles comes from the windshield vent windows (think that's what they're called) knocking against the windshield pillar. T

- Have the same problems with my BJ8. Is your passenger door even harder to shut with the hood (converitible top) up? I think the windshield/door pillar/body flex is causing even more interference. An

- The vent on the rear of the pump should have a check valve (just a small ball bearing) and is for venting ozone produced by points ... an unnecessary vestige on the SS pumps, I suppose. The vent on

- Hmmmmm ... my BJ8 starts fine when hot--tested up to 115deg. ambient--after anywhere from a couple minutes to 10 or 15. It does help to give half-throttle or so when hot cranking. bs ** Bob Spidell S
