- Personally I would not be too worried about the run out on your flywheel but if the run out was not there at the time of balancing but is when fitted to your crankshaft I would be a little concerned

- There are no other engine numbers like this on the 100 Database, so this is a mystery. JM was used as a Batch Number on the very early cars but I doubt if there is any connection All the best -- Joh

- You should be able to prise off the small end cover and expose a squared end of the armature shaft. Just turn this to see if all is free and leave at a different point in case you are on a deed spot
