- I have never found one that showed any pitting or wear. Some of them did have a coating of a shellac like material that I theorize was the remains of old brake fluid that had dried out and hardened.

- I'm a little confused about your terminology, but I'll assume that by driving lights you mean tail lights. If the tail lights are bright and the turn/brake lights are dim you have reversed the wiring
