Joe, if you go to the SCCA specs I've included the link to , you'll find out was approved for the cars prior to 70. Not all clubs are strict about this, but ours, SOVREN is. Charly http://www.sovren.

Back in the 60's, I would have let you run Modified with FI in a Spit. I don't race vintage but that would be the class, something like F modified, depending on displacement.
