- I've cleaned up and rebuilt overdrives several times now but haven't come across that bushing disintegration. My Vicky Brit catalog doesn't number it either. John Esposito at Quantumechanics rebuilt

- The washer under the sun gear is almost always broken. It is interesting that the original overdrive manual says to have a sun gear float of 0.014 to 0.020, while later manuals say to use 0.008 to 0.

- While we're talking about overdrives, I'd like to hear what mods some of you have done for racing with an overdrive. The main factors I've seen are: 1. Use an overdrive with the large accumulator 2.
