- use the gt6 shaft and shorten it to the spitfire length. we make a cluth disc that is the gt6 spline size with a spitfire diameter. i would certainly look at the layshaft and replace the bearings. al

- bob, forged are not that expensive. we supply custom built forged at $120 a piston plus rings. these are made to your specs or a standard design. since 12.5 is fairly low compression for a race engin
