I would suppose that a stock push rod bends at too high load. Maybe there was an over reving incident during race or testing that dislocated the ball joint, caused by not enough spring load for this

The problem I found was the occasional leak in a diaphragm that could throw you for a couple days until you finally find that little pin hole and of course the difficulty in finding optional needles.

I went out this morning to head to the shop and found that someone stole a 1968 AH Sprite from in front of my house. Car is Red with Black interior good solid driver. Had some minor rear end damage.
