Back in 63 I hit the wall at Daytona in the wet at about 100 in my Daimler SP250 in practice. The wheel hit hard enough to rip the(TR) front suspension off but the wire wheel and hub were undamaged.

We have had a similar problem. In FP SCCA we have more latitude, but.... Our soulution was to convert to the TR7 box. It has the same ratios as the GT6 and the same case (single rail version). We use
