anyone ever see/do a wood dash for an early 67 1600? my dash needs to be restored, and i'm thinking of doing one. would love to hear from someone who's btdt, or why its a bad idea.

In theory, it shouldn't be too hard to veneer your own dash face. You can order veneers online, or pick some out at a good woodworking supply store. It is only about 1/32" thick and bends pretty easi
