I am working on a 68 2ltr. Is there any way to identify which camshaft I am looking at, other than measuring? The only number I see on mine is '255'. Does that mean anything? Thanks REB /// datsun-ro

There 3 possibilities for factory cams. Standard SU has and "A" stamped on the back end. Regular Solex has a "B" stamped on the back end. Solex II has "25510" stamped on the back end. Stan == At 06:

Thanks all. The cam I bought when I put the Solex's on a decade ago has the B code. The one on the head I recently picked up does not have a code. A follow up question, I have read there is a differe
