Does any one use anything to seal the water tower gaskets? Or are the gaskets enough? I am referring to a '70 1600 that is desmogged. If I get an answer before I run into town, I am hoping to be back

IIRC, there was a discussion (or two?) regarding the use of sealants on gaskets. I believe the majority opinion was to ensure the mating surfaces are as clean and straight and unblemished as possible

I doI run a thin line of gasket cement around the inside of the paper gasket, on both sides. Enough to saturate the paper. I've found that water will creep through the paper and rust the studs, even
