- I used some copper tubing from the hardware store- they called it capillary tubing... and they have the compression fittings for the end, too. on a roll this AM, Toby

- Wrong hose, ScottJim was talking (I think) about the small hard line that feeds oil to the dizzy, not the rubber line for the pressure gauge... which, I concur, can be fabricated locally for cheaper-

- Yes I was talking about the one from the block to the dizzy. The 2000 is hard on each end with rubber line in middle. Can this line be made also?? Jim

- either I'm suffering a case of CRS, (which is quite possible) or my 2L has a steel line. I'll look tonight... but I was pretty sure it was a tiny (1/16") steel line with compression fittings. Maybe

- The block-to-dizzy base oil line is: solid metal on the 1600 (at least on '68) metal ends with cloth-covered middle on the 2000 (at least on '69) I'm not sure why they made the 2L a flexible line as

- My '68 has metal ends with metal mesh in middle. And I think the reason that it is a flex line is so you can rotate that lower dizzy base, if for some crazy reason you might want to. Joe Kinstle '68
