- Allow me to jump in here. You may be pulling air in around the throttle plate shaft. Try spraying a little starting fluid on the aforementioned shaft. If the RPMs rise, you need to reseal the shafts

- You might try putting one end of the braded cable in a drill motor and spinning it to ream the fuel line. Remember that if you have gas fumes in the work area that the drill can be an ignition source
