- First thing for overheating problems, Take the Radiator out and take it to a good radiator shop and have it rodded. I believe that will cut short your search for the problem. Pat

- Tell your brother to check his pedal to brake cylinder "ROD". It should have about 1/4" of play. I am sure he does not have it. If the rod is tight it will not allow the brakes to release the fluid.
