You should be able to choose from several hardnesses in urethane bushings soon if you can't already. As far as longevity, we'll see. I've worked with urethanes for over a decade, and they degrade too

But waidminnit, my 70 1600 has a 140mph speedo! I'm not the original owner, but I doubt it's a replacement. It is a late one, built April 70, so possible they were using up stock on hand... -Marc T.
