Yes, you can do this yourself. I would suggest getting a wire brush, drill bit attachment(s). Don't get anything too abrasive though. A drill will work better and faster than a dremel. Be sure to re

Just having gone through this one myself... The key is good prep work and really good paint and clear. I used DuPont Chromabase Urethane paint with DuPont clear. Retail it's about $450 for everything
