I'm wondering if anyone could answer some questions. I've always liked the Europas, and only seen one up close. How much do they weigh? (approximately/average) How much torque can the transaxle take?

A one-off, called the Lotus 47D, was built by GKN Products (they make bearings, etc) and still exists. They had to stretch the car a few inches. 175 (real) hp is really pushing a TC. It can be done,
