Yes, back the bolt out, evenly spread on "anti-seize" compound, insert finger tight, and then torque. Incidentally, the head bolt nuts are very special and made for BMC cars, DO NOT USE SUBSTITUTES!

If your float level is off you can very easily have a too rich What happens is the carb will "dump" fuel into the engine. A bad thing since this can "wash" the rings and fill the sump full of gas! (A
