I had my cam reground by Iskenderian for about $60. The new grind was a longer duration/higher lift profile. My car is a Sunbeam Alpine. No cam induced prob's yet. -Brian

For the regular wires (non-cotton wrapped) I used lan-lin hand cleaner to remove 25 yrs. of slime. It worked great. It also works on engine blocks etc. Brian

I think you are correct about the reason for the extra nut. A run an Alpine which is prone to low oil pressure. The fix for it is to modify the relief valve by compressing the spring. The common fix

The speedo in my Alpine is WAAAY off. I read about 80 mph at 60 mph actual. Does anyone know how to calibrate these thangs? Boy, it is nice to have small problems to worry about while driving the car
