- Drain the oil and tie it down in its most secure position. Laying on its side will be fine. Don't let any weight rest where it can damage external components (i.e distributor). Eric Russell Mebane, N

- Apply some masking tape (painters tape tends to not leave residue) to the edges of the seam to protect against any glue that might squeeze out. Gently lift the loose edges and clean out any debris/ol
